Nutrition and herbal medicine
Nutrition and medicinal plants advice, tailored to you.
Eating better is not the same as dieting, and a plant is not harmless just because it is natural. Both of those are why this consultation exists. We spend half an hour looking at what you actually eat in a normal week — not what you would like to eat — and from there we suggest changes you can keep up. If a supplement or a medicinal plant suits you, we will say so; if it does not, we will say that too. The part almost nobody checks is the part that falls to us as a pharmacy: what each plant does alongside the medication you already take. St John's wort, ginkgo and green tea interact with anticoagulants, antidepressants and contraceptives, and the box does not tell you that. Bring the list of what you take and we will go through it. We do not replace your doctor or your dietitian. If what you need is a diagnosis or a medical treatment plan, we will tell you and refer you on.
